About Black Jack & Zeus

I have lost two dogs. Black Jack who was a 12 year old Black Lab and now Zeus who was only 6. He was a Chocolate Lab and was Black Jacks son.

When did you lose Black Jack & Zeus?

I lost Black Jack in 2006, and Zeus just yesterday December 7th 2012.

At which stage of pet loss grief do you feel you are currently at?

Or how are you feeling right now?

I feel as though even since Black Jack passed away I never really healed from the hurt of his passing. Now that Zeus is gone he was the last piece of Black Jack I had left. I'm angry that my babies have been taken away from me, and not that they just passed peacefully. We had to make the call in having them put down and that makes this process so much worse.
