I remember the day I met you. You were oh so shy. But only for a minute and you let me into your heart. I loved you right then and there, the little white spot on your wet nose the best. I was so happy when I would get the chance to see you. You remembered me and allowed me into your heart.
An unfortunate occurrence happened and you had to come stay with me for a while. We became closer. I took care of you, loved you even more than words can say. You started to get used to my home and made it yours too. Despite my two bratty cats who made it hard for you the first few days.
I loved you at first sight, I love you still. But God called you today, we will never know why. And I never got to say goodbye. I am happy for one thing, and that is that you found your way home and spent your last few hours with "Daddy". He loved you so much and you always knew when he was home waiting for you. Sweet Willow, you had only 3 short years here on earth. But your life was full.
You were rescued, and loved beyond loved. I hope you did not suffer sweet girl, but now you are pain free and running around with all the other animals at The Rainbow Bridge, where I know we will see you again. Until we meet again, always remember how much you were loved, and will never be forgotten.
