I see that it has been a while since the death of Spanky, but I still wish you my condolences. We admire you so much for taking on the two little munchkins in.
Yesterday we had to have our own "Spanky" put down, due to cancer & congestive heart failure. He was a mini dachshund, so adorable, 14 & 1/2 years of joy, love & lots of cuddling & laughter. Right now the pain is nearly unbearable, but your story gives us hope. Thank-you, Denise

I never wanted to stop crying when my baby Dante died last Nov of CHF at 8 yo. I was afraid of not remembering. I am better now but still miss his smile so. (yes he smiled everytime I came home) I am so sorry for your loss!! My granddog died a week ago to. So our family feels and shares your loss.
