Your Pet Tributes

Max,

When I first got you as a 8 week old puppy, I swore to you that you would have a forever home. I covered you with love, took you everywhere with me, and never made you sleep outside.

Through the years, you were my search and rescue partner, guardian of my children, and my constant companion when I was ill. Everyone loved you. You thought all children were yours to protect. How many babies did you lay next to. Never complaining when they pulled your ears. Or as they got older, patiently watch them play under your watchful eyes.

I will miss you my friend, my partner, my Max. I kept my promise to always take care of you. You passed in the night on a warm bed, at my son's bedside. Little did I realize, how much you thru the years you kept your promises to me. You were loving, courageous, patient, and obedient. I will forever miss you my friend.
