Your loss of Max sounds like what we have gone through in 32 years of marriage and losing one of our companions. They are like children to us. One of our labs, Sadie is experiencing a lot of the same as Max did and it's going to be one of the most difficult decisions I'll have to make in my lifetime.
It's been a few months since you lost Max but I'm sure he's still in your thoughts on a regular basis. Max was fortunate as well to have such a loving family and to be rescued from a shelter. Time will ease the pain however, it will never erase the memory.
So Sad... by: Cindy
Hi Wendy & Rockne & Family...
Very sad to hear about Max. It's hard to describe how much they become part of your family and no matter what some people say, they have souls... lots of personality... and deserve our love and respect (lost my little KC "Kitty Cat" chihuahua 1 1/2 years ago). If it's any comfort at all, and if and when you are ready, I have a beautiful little chihuahua that is the same coloring as Max with a dark face too :) - that would make a beautiful addition to your home (and would gladly give her to you free - she's beautiful and loves to hike, play etc)... if at all interested, let me know. Again, very sad for your loss. Wishing you the best. Hugs to all... Cindy
