1 Year Since We Said Good-Bye

Ellie Mae:

I cannot believe that it has been a whole year since you've been gone. We missed you so much at Christmas, as you loved being in the middle of all the wrapping paper and the center of attention. I think about you a lot, and tell people some of the stories about you. I look at the box on the mantel with you picture knowing that you are not there but up above running and playing and feeling no pain. I still feel the pain of losing you and i will until we meet again.
Give kisses to my Dad, and my Sister Sherre, and your brother and sister who passed before you, Jedi, and Trooper. Please watch over us, and remember we all love and miss you with all our hearts! (even Codie) I love you Ellie girl!!

Hi Ellie girl-

I will always miss you! You were such a wonderful dog. You always greeted me with love with those perky ears and a wagging tail. I will never forget all the drooling over food, excitement about dinner, sneaking into leftovers, viscous(but harmless) growling, and endless barking to go outside! That is what made you so unique, so Ellie.


I tear up when I think of the Huntemann household without you, but I have to be selfless and put a big smile on my face because I know you are lounging on heaven's patio, soaking up the sun!

I feel empathy for everyone who loves you, now we are missing a great friend. But, now we will sit around telling stories about how awesome you were. Thank you for bringing us such joy! Know that that you are so loved, will be sincerely missed, and will always be in our memories!

Ellie Mae,

You are the type of dog that steals any human's heart. I'm glad I was able to share time with you even though it wasn't long. I'm going to miss you greeting me at the door when I visit. And I'd be lying if I said I won't miss leaving the house covered in Ellie hair! Enjoy running without the worry that Steven and Chance will catch you. Look over us all!

Ellie Mae I will miss you so much. All the times that I came to visit you wouldn't go sleep with your mommie you wanted to sleep with me. I know how much your mommy and daddy miss you. Steven and Sean and Wesley too.

Say hi for me to my Josie and Mitzi and you are running around playing. And when I get to cross the rainbow bridge I hope that you will stop playing and come to meet me along with Mitzi and Josie.
