So sorry to hear about your loss. I know exactly how you feel as we just recently lost our little Peaches. My daughter believes that our pets are always with us even after death and I have taken great comfort in believing that, too.

You maybe a big biker dude but you have the heart of a lion and the touch of a lamb. Your dedication is to be admired I lost my life long companion of 20 years it will be 3 years on June 11th. Unspoken love from a pet is one of the most precious thing on earth. You may have rescued him but in reality he chose you. No measure of time can take that from you. Remember to always keep your heart open and you will hear his soft little purr telling you how much he loved you. There are great Rainbow Bridge stories on the site I myself have found some comfort. I know that when this life ends and we go to our next journey that my beautiful blue eyed boy husky mix will be waiting with kisses and all that love shining in his eyes. There's another way you can immortalize your little guy. Take the picture you posted and get him tattooed somewhere my Buddy takes up half my back. My heart goes out to you for all the pain you are feeling but he is with you all you have to do is listen with your heart and there he will be.
