I feel your pain

Hi Hannah

I lost my beautiful bunny snuffy only 3 days ago... I had her for a very short 2 years, but she was like my best friend... I'm devestated, but reading your story made me feel less alone... I'm sorry for your loss and I know your Joy knew she had a fantastic owner and til the end you did all you could for her... I've submitted my story and it should be on here soon... its titled "Snuffy"...if you wish to read please do!

You showed her you were a true friend by letting her go. She could not have wished for a better person to take care of her and love her. The last thing she felt when she passed away was not the coldness of death but the undying love of her friend.
I have also lost a bunny

I'm truly sorry for the loss of your bunny. My bun bun passes away about 2 weeks ago myself. I got her when I was 13 and now I'm 18. I'm grateful for the 5 years I had with her. While reading your story I couldn't help but cry, I understand the love you had for your bunny because I was also lucky enough to have a wonderful pet bunny myself. All the things that you said about her giving you kisses, grunting and thumping her back feet reminded me of my bunny. We are both very special people because having a bunny as a pet requires a lot of patience, understanding and a gentle character. I just know our bunnies are in heaven right now and have become great friends.

I'm very sorry for your loss of your bunny!! She was beautiful!! You did the right thing to put her out of pain and she thanks you for that!! I know for sure that she loves you SOOO much and don't doubt for a second that she doesn't know that you love her!!! By the sound of it you were the best pet owner she could of asked for!!! And right now, every second I bet she's watching your every move with those beautiful eyes of hers thinking too herself " she's the best" " I love her and I KNOW she loves me!!" she had a good life because of you don't forget that!!! She's now an angel in heaven waiting for you too join her at rainbow bridge!! <3

Margaret, thank you SO much.
Your comment made me burst into tears. I truly do believe that God gave her to me and that she chose me. He meant for us to be together, so it's very hard to part from her, but He also means for us to meet at the Bridge.

God knew you would be the perfect caregiver to this wonderful bunny. He put you together and He will reunite you in His time, at the Rainbow Bridge. God must be proud of how you looked after your dearest friend. My sympathy in your loss.
