Me and My dog Misty... Isn't she beautiful? ;) Now at Rainbow Bridge running as much as she desires ;))
I lost my dog and cat within a month... My dog's name was Misty, she was hit by a car while I was out of state... My cat's name was Fuzz... he had cancer, a blood parasite, and diabetes...
I kinda felt like it was my fault that Misty died... I felt this way because I am in Taekwondo, and I had a tournament in Kentucky... Our dogsitters were all off to college so my mom asked one of my good friends to sit for us. Apparently, after my friend left, the door popped open (I do admit the door is hard to lock/close) and Misty got out... She was a husky, so she looovveed to run... The ride to pick her up (from the road) seemed the longest ride ever, so I thought she actually got to the other town, but turns out it was right down the street...
We had an appointment for Fuzz to get put down (he was terribly thin, and non-responsive, like a living zombie, at least that's what he looked like, poor kitty) ;( And he liked to lay in the sun, so we put him on Misty's bed and let him lay outside, since he only had a few precious hours left, and we just thought how it would be nice if he just went to sleep in the sun where he loved it so much... About 5-10 minutes later, he started to go to sleep. His body contracted and he was gone...
We will love both of them forever <3
I used to go running with Misty all the time and I will miss that ;) I love you "Woo Woo" (that's what we called her because of the sound she made when she was excited; "wooooooooooo" haha.
