I feel your sadness over the death of your cat. But I am sure that Snickers is thankful for giving him the chance to see you before he died and he did not die alone.He surely appreciated that you are on his side when he died. He surely is in heaven now-guiding and watching you from above.
And as for the driver who was careless to hit him, God is not blind, he will judge him/her. Don't hate him for a long time, it will be bad for your health. Snickers would not like that to see you sick.
