This weekend my husband and I got fresh mulch and a beautiful stone that says "In memory of a faithful friend and companion". We put a bench nearby so I could sit and read or just enjoy the outdoors. I get better every day but the pain is excruciating when it hits. My first thought when I open the door is to make sure she's ok and she's my first thought in the morning. I know it will be ok someday though. It just takes time.

It is really painful at the start, it is ok to grieve, but not for long. I bet Kitty would not like to see you sad. With time, you can move on. She may not be visible physically, but Kitty has already found a place in heaven and in your heart, that's forever. :)
