Please read my Bridge story on this site; it's under "it's not really goodbye" My experience convinced me that our cats have a pure unconditional love for us and they understand that we dont want them to suffer. It was far kinder for me to have Miffy put to sleep rather than have her leave my room at night to cry in the living room because she was hurting so badly. Desi's passing was not your fault and she loves you dearly. Blessings.
Unconditional love by: Anonymous
5 months ago I lost my cat to a combination of hypothyriodism, kidney failure, and a heart murmur. She'd been on medication the entire time I'd owned her (My husband and I adopted her at 12 yrs of age) and I remember the pain of feeling like I hadn't done everything I could for my kitty on the day we had her put to sleep..
Please know that your cat loves you and you did one of the kindest most loving things you could do in relieving her pain. IT IS NOT YOUR FAULT! I am so very sorry for your loss. Please read my Bridge Story on this website; it's under "It's not really goodbye." That experience convinced me that our cats love us with a pure unconditional love and they want us to be happy. I miss my girl terribly, but I don't miss her leaving my bedroom at night to cry in the livingroom because she was in so much pain. God Bless.
