I lost my canine soul mate Ralph 5th Nov 2011 at the age of 14, we had been together for almost 13 years. I rescued him from an abusive man and it was the best decision I ever made. We saved each other so many times. Your story of Clancy is beautiful, you were both lucky to have each other. My heart is broken but I know that Ralph would want me to give another a home one day. But not just yet, it's too painful, but one day. I just hope that one day, after that final goodbye there will be another hello. Hugs Coral x
The World is darker today by: Ed
I read your story about Clancy and was astonished at how similar it is to mine with my girl CoCo ..
An abused, shelter dog with nothing but happiness, love, friendship, and companionship to give ..
I lost CoCo on December 27th 2011 in much the same way you parted with Clancy ..
Like you, my heart was broken on that day
I'm sure Clancy, CoCo and all the others are running through God's fields and raiding the Angel's refrigerators :)
Stay strong my friend and keep Clancy buried deep in your heart and memories

May our 4 legged babies run together by: Dianna Petrytus
My Buddy like you Clancy was the love of my life, I hope that they are together chasing those fat rabbits and lazy squirrels and getting extra special treatment from the angels.
May your pain one day subside and when you meet you wonderful girl on the other side her eyes will shine and you will be greeted with a Clancy kiss. It has been 8 months and 17 days since I lost my Buddy, he is also on this site, he was just over 20 when I lost him. May your memories be as fond for you of you Clancy as mine are of my Buddy. She was your girl and will forever remain in your heart. Thank you for sharing your wonderful story.

Clancy by: Pat
That was the most beautiful love story I have ever read. I could feel the love you had for each other through your words. I am so sorry for your loss. I know that Clancy is somewhere over the bridge running through the fields free of pain. Clancy was beautiful.

Sorry by: Lynne &Gary
I am truly sorry for your loss. May I say this is a very beautiful and moving story. Sounds as though Clancy had a great life and when she needed you most you were there by her side.
The emptiness we feel when they are gone is unbearable but with time the pain easies.
The memories of our beloved pets will live on in our hearts forever.
