I lost my beautiful Springer Spaniel Ralph 1 year 8 days ago on 5th Nov 2011 at 14. I had to put him to sleep as the strongest pain killers couldn't ease his arthritis pain and I couldn't let him suffer. I now suffer instead and cry every day for my boy, I miss him with a longing that no one but those who have lost a beloved furry friend can understand. I don't think I will ever really get over my loss but I hope the pain will become easier to bear with time. The bond we have with our companions is unbreakable even in death. I just hope that one day, after that final goodbye, there will be another hello. Coral (Coventry, UK)
Tending God's Flock by: Ed
What a beautiful tribute to your Blackface Jet.
I adopted (I can't say rescue as CoCo truly rescued me) a Border Collie / Aussie Shepard who I believe was once a ranch dog & she had the same "longing" looks as your jet.
Coco left this Earth on 12/27/2011 and I'm sure she and Jet enjoying God's pastures, and tending Angelic flocks.
