It's been 1 year and 7 days (5th Nov 2011) that I lost my beautiful Springer Spaniel Ralph at the age of 14. He was my best friend, my family and my soul mate. I have thought about him and cried for him everyday since. My love for him grows stronger everyday. I miss holding him, stroking him, kissing him, smelling him and hearing his sounds. I know that I will rescue another dog one day but it is too soon. A part of us dies with our canine soul mates and they leave a part of themselves with us. It's good to know I'm not alone or abnormal for feeling such grief over a loss of an animal companion. My thought are with everyone who as lived and lost a beloved canine friend, x x
Barabbas by: Lynne and Gary
I know how you feel. It has been just over twelve months since I lost my boy. (Twelve months at the bridge).
Like you we miss him everyday and love him more than ever. Barabbas was a very handsome boy he looks so lovable. They take a piece of our heart with them when they leave us but the memory of them will live in our hearts for ever because TRUE LOVE NEVER DIES.
Run Free at the bridge Barabbas.
