I'm so sorry for your loss. I loved your poem, it said a lot of things I'm going thru now myself after the loss of my sweet baby Max. I still look for him, miss him, and hold his sweet collar everynight before I go to sleep. He was my baby, like a child to me, and I will always and forever miss and love him. I know time is the only thing that will help, but my grief has been so profound, and reading your post helped me a lot, knowing I'm not the only one who feels the same way. Your lovely poem made me cry made me think of my Rolo my sweet little hooded rat and Rodrigo my oldie rat that I had to have put to sleep for which I am feeling eternally guilty for but the poem sums up the feelings in my heart for the painful loss of all my little babies, Thankyou Jean.
