Thank you so much for your kind words on my poem for Cinnamon. Your Lucky was such a beautiful dog. I know what you mean about there only being one like him, because that's how I feel about Cinnamon. I'm sorry for your loss. I hope we'll be reunited with them one day, too.
Adorable Lucky Boy by: Diana
Sandy Thank you for taking time to post such kind words of support in my diary for my Doberman Leya. I am so sorry for your loss, and you are right, I truly do know what you are going through and how you feel. Lucky is an adorable boy, and those eyes of his are just so beautiful. What a joy for you to share so many wonderful years with him. But I know how hard it is to say goodbye. Sometimes, we just can't. I hope we all get to hold and kiss our babies again some day. I hold onto that thought to get through the days without Leya. Even after 7 months, as you say, each day is a struggle.
Your Handsome Boy Lucky by: Susie
Thank you for your comment on my diary 'Susie & Mel' Wednesday Mar 30, 2011. I'm so sorry about your loss of "Lucky". It's so nice to meet other people that love their babies as much as I do. I do believe that our babies are running happily, full of joy, peace and having the best times socializing with each other up in heaven. It's been a tough road since I lost my baby Mel. Your baby Lucky looks so handsome in the picture. I hope that time will help heal my aching heart and yours.
Beautiful Lucky by: Anonymous
Lucky reminds me of my beagle, Shiloh, that I lost on August 25, 2010. There's something about those big beautiful eyes (they pierce your very soul and impart such peace and warmth). I saw Lucky and tears started flowing...I am really missing my Shiloh. The only way I get through the grieving is by knowing his lymphoma was making him suffer and because I love him so much I had to let him go. He will forever be a part of me (and I suspect a piece of my heart will always be missing until we meet again).
I am so sorry for your loss...I like to think that Lucky and Shiloh are probably together and in good health enjoying running through a beautiful field of flowers with streams nearby....waiting for us.
