That was you, Charlie, our Guardian Angel, when you showed up at our door almost 8 years ago. And, you still are our Angel and will be forever. I think about you day and night, miss you so terribly, can't even talk about you much with anyone because emotions are too high. Nothing is fun, no laughter, so quiet and sad, all because you are not here.

Charlie, our world has changed since you left us--such a huge permanent hole, I don't know what we are going to do, everything seems so uncertain. When the sun goes down each day I'm just relieved, because I know I can just concentrate on memories of you for the night.

Bud is acting sluggish. I think he is really grieving for you. We all know that Bud had been so bratty towards you, but you still looked after him all the time and Bud remembers your big heart. Charlie, please don't forget, we all loved you so dearly and always will.

How I wish I could turn the clock back to the day you showed up at our door. I would give everything I have for it, only if I could.

Charlie, I still would love to know how you are doing. I miss you so much. Sweet dreams...
