We lost Ollie four days ago and your pain is so familiar. Ollie would jump sideways like a Mexican jumping bean, he was a norwalk terrier, so soft and silky, I just wanted to hold him all the time. I miss his sweet face and funny sweet nature, so hopeful when I'm in the kitchen cooking, he hopes for something really good to drop on the floor! I loved him so much, it hurts incredibly. So I think we both had amazing little doggies... your Bailey was incredibly adorable... just think how he would want you to be happy again, I know he would... just remember the lovely, funny times, carry them in your heart and smile through your tears and go see if there's another lucky little pup you can care for and love...
Just saying my heart goes out to you too.
I feel your pain by: Meg
It has been three months since our beloved KC died in my arms and I still cry and feel empty. I still look for him in his usual places. I am not going to say the pain goes away but it will lessen. I am not going to say the tears stop flowing because they will appear out of nowhere. But I have started to realize that our KC is not hurting anymore and I know I will see him again. Time will be nothing for your beloved pet. He will be waiting just like KC is waiting for us.
