No need to feel guilty

I feel sad for your loss. Losing a beloved pet is so heart-wrenching. But do not blame yourself (re: Vet appointment) It must have been his time to cross over to the Rainbow Bridge. Please know that he knew he was loved and YOU gave him a great life. Our companion animals do not fear death; we are the ones that do. Please take care.

I still grieve for my rats, but Rolo broke my heart and took it with him when he left me. I too bury my angel rats in pots. I feel deeply for you because not a lot of people feel as we do for these sweetest of creatures, they are loving and so intelligent.
I will see my Rolo again one day at the Rainbow Bridge, till then I like you must live with the ache of an empty space where he once was, Love Jean xx
