Leya, my happy, sweet girl...

Mother's Day is coming up this weekend, the first since you had to leave. I think you and Charlie have big plans to spend the day with your Moms, even though we can't see you, I'm sure you will be with us.

You always made the day so special just by sharing it with me. I am so happy to be your Mom. That will never change. I miss you so much, but I treasure every day we had together Leya and I always will. I still have trouble looking at your pictures but it is getting a bit easier. I have started your scrapbook and it will be a beautiful tribute to you. You are the most beautiful girl ever. No matter what happens Leya, I will always be your Mom, and you will always be my special girl.

You and Charlie are so brilliant. I know together you will find a way to send a happy memory to Charlie's Mom and to me, so that we will remember how happy and truly blessed we are to have shared our lives with you. It will be the most treasured gift from you and Charlie that we could receive. We will smile, our gift to you and Charlie. I know you both want that so badly.

You are both so loved, forever and always.
