Dear Dayle: I want to offer my condolences on the one year anniversary of your loss of Oliver. He was really a beautiful boy! He was also very lucky to have been in your loving care. Sounds like you miss him very much. I know something of your pain because I lost my cat, Wolfie, almost one year ago and I still hurt but I wanted to let you know of a grief group that I went to at Cheshire Congregational Church that really helped me cope. I see you live close by so I thought it might be an option for you. It's an ongoing group that runs for 6 weeks at a time. I think another one is starting in October. You can call the church or go online to find out when it starts. It was hard the first night to walk in cold by they welcome everyone with open arms. It's usually 5 or 6 people and you don't have to be a member to go. I just wanted to pass this along to you because it helped me very much. If not you can try your own church and I know Midstate Medical has ongoing grief groups as well. Take care of yourself and know that you're not alone. I truly believe Oliver is with God just like my Wolfie is with God. They're very happy and no longer in any kind of pain. I pray you can find some comfort during this sad time. God bless.
