I am sorry. It's been two months for me and I can't see to get over it. I am crying as I write this. I miss my little friend so much. I couldn't care less about Christmas, work, anything. My guy died at the emergency vet in an oxygen tank and I never got to say goodbye.
The pain and guilt are overwhelming.
I have been seeing a counselor for 5 weeks and don't feel it is really helping. The only thing that would help is to have him back.
Just know you are not alone...

Dale,
I'm so sorry for the loss of your beloved Blue. Losing a pet is just ... well, I think it is just indescribably hard to bear. I wish I could offer you some great suggestions to help you with your grief, but I think for some things in life only time and feeling your pain will help you heal. That and talking about it, I think. If you want to talk to a counselor for free, please visit the below link. You will find other links on this site where you can exhange e-mails with counselors. This might really be of some help, maybe a lot of help.
