Ellie Mae:

It has been a long time since I have written to you. I am sorry things have been so busy!! It is summer time, and whenever daddy sits on the deck, or he is cooking something on the grill, he says he misses his grilling buddy!! You would stand right next to him and he would cut a piece of the chicken or steak and feed it to you!!

I miss you so much, that we had to take Codie to the Vet because he had an ear infection, we went into Dr Morans exam room, and I just started crying!! All I could think about was that just a couple of months ago we were in that same room with you!!

Even though daddy was unable to be with us that day, he understood why I was so upset. Even Dr. Moran said that you were a great dog., and that Codie probably still misses you!!

Right now I wish you were sitting right next to me so I could pet you and love you. I will ALWAYS love you and I never would have thought that losing you would affect me in the way that it has. I am so sad without you.

I hope you are running free and playing tug of war with the other dogs, and I hope that you found Aunt Sherre as you always loved her, and my Dad.

Please keep watch over all of us, as I look up into the sky and blow a kiss hoping that you feel it.
