Hello Bette,
Read your pet loss diary. Sometimes, it`s so painful that you have to live without your beloved or beloved pet? So, the pain of pet loss only can be understood by who has also going through this phase. Because, for their they are only animal as other animal. They never understand the feeling of pet lovers. It is experienced by me.
I too had 2 Labras, they were just living with us like children. They used to sleep with us. Even, they could not live without us a single moment & the same situation was with us too. They were also very young (4yrs). I can say that they were just like the little angels of our house. They made us happy by watching their naughty activities. During those years, we were also going via a mental agony due to departure of my mother.
But, playing with them & watching with them, we also involved with them & for the time being, we overcome this tragedy. My Vet.Dr. also knew us very well that we were very close & attached with them. When my Luana was sick, we talked him. But, he never showed any concerned & after that within 2 & half day, when we where taking her in veterinary hospital, I lost my most important & precious baby.
After that when my baby Sherry was sick, I took him to vet & when he came to know that she (Luana) was no more. And I also told him my father was also in shock & not well due to this. His answer was that he should not attach with animal like this. I was shocked. But, one thing that I felt they all are professional & after that they are only earning money from this. So, they are not pet lovers. The only important thing with them that they have no concerned about pet or animals.

But, for us they were our world, hope & best companion & reliable in this world. They can understand us whether we are in pain, discomfort, as a friend, & also console us by giving us their unconditional love & affection & their selfish less attitude. The only thing that they can not speak. But, rest of the things they do. Which a human being, can never imagine & do for us in this materialistic world.

My all sympathies are with you & your family. May God give you lots of strength so you can overcome from this great loss & may god also give peace & rest to your baby in rainbow bridge. And I have also hope that 1 day we all will be together in rainbow bridge with our beloved pets & never ever departed again.

Sorry for your loss of Ellie Mae. I know how hard it is to lose a beloved fur baby. I lost my Akida, named Nikita. Akida was a Akita, Coyote and Husky mix. She passed away May 11, 2011.
I feel for you, how devastated I was. Akida taught me so many life lessons as I'm sure your beautiful Ellie taught you. What a beautiful German Shepherd.

We will all be reunited one day and meet our four legged family members there. God bless each and every one of them.

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my little boy Copper 3 months ago. He was a Beautiful mini long hair Dachshund. God Bless you and yours.
