Cinnamon by: Margaret Handy-Williams, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada
Hi again, Benji,
The pain gets a little esier. You're doing good, Ben to let it out. To feel it. You will always feel. And you will always carry Cinnamon in your heart and smile when you think of her. She was (and still is in your heart and soul) your best friend. It's been almost 2 1/2 years since we said so long to our beloved Spike. I look at his picture everyday and say hi to him, or just smile.
Margaret - hugs

Your Cinnamon was a beautiful dog. Just to let you know that it's okay that you feel the way you do. My Blue has been gone since Sept. 8, 2009 and I still cry and miss her tremendously. I don't think that feeling of emptiness ever goes away. But you do learn to live with it. My Blue's pictures are everywhere - I want to keep him alive and so that is how I deal with the loss. I still find his hair around the house and feel that is a sign that he is still with me in spirit. You know the love of our pets is forever. All they give us is unconditional love. Your grief will subside but will never go away. Remember that you were blessed in having such a beautiful companion and Cinnamon was blessed in having someone that loved him as much as you did and still do. God bless you.
