I had to put my 13 year old cat down. One week after he passed while I was laying down crying, I felt him on the small of my back where he used to sleep with me. I remember telling him before he passed that if he lays there I will know it was him. I haven't slept in my bed since I sleep on the couch now.

It's just annoying now I wish I didn't tell him that. I figured out now since he has passed the energy he has dead is very uncomfortable to humans or I think it is too much for me. I will always love him and tell him when I feel sad.

It's been 4 months now I just got a new apartment. I hope I can start over fresh. I know he will always be with me. I hope I can come to live with it. Does any one know how to deal with this let me know please. Cali

Thank you very much from Cali. I hope my experience has helped people in their time of pet loss grief. I'm in my new apartment now settled in it's been 5 months now. Feel better and I'm now sleeping in my bed again it was rough for the first 3 weeks but getting much better. So I know now from here on out it will be OK. I still cry sometimes but briefly then I feel happiness follows because I know my Demoose is happy now. So for all of you that just lost your beloved pet just be assured that every thing will be OK.
